Martha M. Redo has been practicing law since 1988 and is a co-founder of Bernstein Redo & Savitsky P.C. Ms. Redo’s primary concentration is in Alcoholic Beverage Control Law representing hotels, restaurants, bars, catering establishments, cruise lines and wholesalers. In addition to advising clients on compliance issues, her work with the New York State Liquor Authority includes obtaining new licenses for clients, assisting with alteration, corporate and other change applications for currently licensed clients, and various miscellaneous licenses and permits. Ms. Redo also handles sidewalk café and cabaret licenses issued by the NYC Department of Consumer Affairs. Ms. Redo oversees the regional and national liquor licensing matters for the firm and successfully managed a number of national transactions, including one involving more than 15 states and 650 locations. Ms. Redo also assists with liquor licensing matters in New Jersey and Pennsylvania and residential real estate matters. Ms. Redo obtained her law degree from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and subsequently obtained her MBA from Vanderbilt University. She is a member of The National Association of Licensing and Compliance Professionals and the Lincoln Center Counsels’ Council.
