Benjamin S. Savitsky has been practicing law since 2010. Prior to joining Bernstein Redo, P.C in October 2016., Mr. Savitsky served as counsel to a boutique New York liquor importer and wholesaler with licenses in 28 states. Since joining our firm, Mr. Savitsky has counseled clients in the hospitality industry on all aspects of obtaining liquor licenses and the many requirements for maintaining such licenses in good standing with the regulatory authorities. Mr. Savitsky regularly appears on behalf of clients before local community boards and the New York State Liquor Authority and, in in response to violations and summonses, represents their interests in administrative and criminal matters. Over the past several years, Benjamin has assisted the largest suppliers, manufacturers and wholesalers in the alcohol industry on matters with New York and national implications, as well as several small craft manufactures. Mr. Savitsky specializes in work with alcohol manufacturers, suppliers and wholesalers, as well as third-party providers of alcohol-related services. Mr. Savitsky also has extensive experience in transactional and administrative law from his work in City government. Benjamin received his law degree from Brooklyn Law School and his undergraduate degree from Colgate University.
