290 Elizabeth Street in Manhattan, which beginning in 1933 was an Italian American bakery, most recently as Parisi Bakery which closed in 2021, has roared back to life. Twin sisters Jennifer and Nicole Vitagliano recently opened a new all-da café and restaurant, Raf’s with Italian and French inspired dishes. Jennifer is also the owner of the Michelin-starred Musket Room. The restaurant shares its name with Jennifer and Nicole’s grandmother, Rafaela. On the Raf’s team are executive chef Mary Attea and executive pastry chef Camari Mick, both of whom have been recognized by the James Beard Foundation. Though only open a few months, in July Raf’s has already received two stars from New York Times critic Pete Wells. Bernstein Redo & Savitsky P.C. is proud to be part of the Raf’s team.
